From the members of Fisherman's Lodge #191 We are located on 201 Dover Drive in West Tawakoni, TX which is a short distance off of Hwy 276. You can see the lodge hall from the Hwy. Look for the flagpole. (See map and picture of Lodge hall below)
We would like to invite you to become a part of our lodge membership. While we insist that one must believe in a supreme being, we do not inquire into the applicant’s particular choice of faith or belief, nor do we permit religious discussions in our lodge room, as each member is privileged to worship God according to the dictates of his own conscience without interference from the order. We also recognize that society has laid down certain rules that have proven of great importance, so that, while we recognize the fatherhood of God and the kinship of humanity, we must require evidence that the applicant is of good moral character, and he/she must be mentally capable of earning a livelihood. With these simple yet essential qualifications, a man or woman may unite with us in the office of human benefaction. Our Charge : The commands of Odd Fellowship are to Visit the Sick, Relieve the Distressed, to Bury the Dead, Educate the Orphan, and to Protect and Care for the Aged and Widowed. If you would like to join our ranks and become an Odd Fellow; talk to the person who directed you to our website. If you found us through a search and have questions feel free to use the contact form

Fisherman's Lodge #191 has the distinction of being the Odd Fellows Lodge with the very first female Odd Fellow in Texas. We have never made Kelli Mullen feel odd about not being a fellow. We recognize the need for a woman’s touch and her helpfulness in carrying out the principles of Odd Fellowship does not go without notice. It took almost 150 years for women to become "Odd Fellows." In the year 2000 the Sovereign Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows passed legislation requiring all Odd Fellows Lodges to admit women. It is our desire that many more women will join our lodge membership.
- Oddfellowship is - Founded on the North American continent in 1819. A fraternity founded on the basis of universal brotherhood. Based on the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man. The strongest fraternal society on the continent. Based upon the purest principles of equality. A great world-wide united brotherhood. Non-political and non-sectarian. A source of comfort in times of trouble and adversity. A world-wide force that stands for all that is noblest and highest. Founded on the inspired word of God as revealed to man in the Holy Bible. An everyday guide for conduct, a mantle that should be worn always. A vitalizing, sympathetic, and actuating influence in the lives of all its real members. Fulfilling a mission in the world which no other institution has successfully attempted. An organization that favors no person for their wealth and frowns on none for their poverty. An ideal that exists in the heart and mind of every genuine Odd Fellow or Rebekah. A ministering spirit succoring the needy, cheering the despondent and protecting the helpless.
